Background
The aim of EPNoSL – a partnership
of ministries of education, research institutions, associations and capacity
building organisations in 22 EU member states – is to facilitate and stimulate high level
cooperation between educational researchers, policy makers and practitioners
with the aim of improving school leadership in EU countries.
The knowledge management activities of EPNoSL
aim to enhance knowledge exchange, information sharing
and facilitate networking between different stakeholder groups both at the national
and international level.
To achieve this aim EPNoSL
launches a Virtual Platform which
allows the different actors of school leadership (school heads, teachers, trainers,
academic experts, policy makers, etc.) to interact, share and learn through a
series of online seminars. This year EPNoSL VIP webinars will focus on
presenting
·
policy toolsets designed to enable and
facilitate reflection on policy action planning across the EU, and
·
case studies on national good practices in school
leadership for equity.
The discussion following the presentations will be
facilitated by policy-makers or experts who have direct experience with policy,
and will aim to provide room for reflections on how the presented tools and
good practices may be used to improve school leadership policy.
